I'm not sure what book others read, but I did not find any of the issues they did. In fact, this story grabbed me from the start with its quirky characters and thread of humor. The relationship between Billie and her mom was pure gold. Handal was handsome and sensitive and strong. I totally loved this cast.
The plot kept me hanging until close to 80% when I figured out who but maybe not all the whys. This wasn't a negative for me. I didn't expect to find the answers on the last page.
Overall, well-written and enjoyable romantic suspense. Good moving plot, not too dark. Fun characters. I highly recommend it.
